  2.         WELMAT and WPL support files.
  3.         -----------------------------

  5.   Many different files associated with WPL or Welmat are available.  WPL is
  6. a GNU CopyLeft package written locally to this system.  There is usually 3
  7. different versions in use, the version I use myself while developing, and
  8. two publicly available versions.  The beta test version is discussed in
  9. the message area WELMAT which is a required conference for use of those 
  10. versions.

  12.   Note:  WPL and WELMAT are two very different programs, with totally
  13. different support utilities.  One obvious thing to recognize is that the
  14. outbound file handler is very different.  WPL makes use of XferQ, and
  15. Welmat makes use of flow.library.  The tools from one do not in any way
  16. work with the other.  One should also note that Welmat is not expandable
  17. to ZedZap, or any other protocols not built in, so the requesting
  18. of XPR's are useless to a WELMAT user.

  20. COPYLEFT    - Returns the latest version of the GNU Public licence which is
  21.               the licence that WPL uses.
